Different types of population structure help us to understand age/sex pyramids of countries at different levels of economic development
Students should be able to interpret an age/sex pyramid.
They should understand how a country’s population structure may change as it becomes more economically developed.
People of any country are diverse in many respects. Each person is unique in her/his own way. Age/sex pyramids help us to understand the relationship between the total number of males/females who are of a certain age and the economic growth of that particular country.
