This session will involve children learning phonics sounds to support with their reading and writing. There will be lots of fun interactive learning activities for the children to enjoy the session.
I am a qualified primary school teacher from London, UK. I completed a Bachelor's Honors in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status and therefore I am familiar with the National Curriculum of England. I am currently a class teacher working from the National Curriculum for England as well as the head of department for Moral, Social and Cultural Studies. I have 5 years' experience tutoring children aged 4 to 11. All of my students have shown excellent progress throughout. I am very keen to recognise strengths and weaknesses to help your child progress academically and always set high expectations, ensuring they develop a love of learning whilst making outstanding progress. When planning my tutoring lessons, I will ensure the needs and abilities of your child are considered. I will include direct teaching and follow up activities as well as challenges. I am able to support children of all abilities and believe it is important that each child has the opportunity to be confident and competent learners and exceed in their learning. I am qualified to support children aged 4 to 11 in all primary subjects including English reading, English writing, Phonics, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography and Social Studies.
